Flap your wings, or wag your tail, A Zoo parade will never fail! [Verse 2 – rhythm picks up with bongo drums] Here’s a Elephant, stomping slow, Listen to that trumpet blow! A cheeky Parrot says, “hello you!” He copies every word you do! (and sometimes makes wuewuewue) [Bridge – quieter, with xylophone sparkles] Shhh... the Lion likes to nap, Dreaming under leaves and sap. The Monkey giggles, swinging high, Throws a banana — watch it fly! [Final Chorus – big group sing, tambourine and laughter] Animals, animals, near and far, From savannah, jungle, sea, and star! (what?) Wave goodbye, they wave back too — Thank you, friends, from the happy zoo! [Outro – footsteps fading, animal noises mixing into music] Goodbye zebra, goodbye bear! We’ll come again — we swear!
