[Verse] A promise spoken clear and true I go to make a place for you In heaven's light beyond the skies Where love and joy will never die [Chorus] He rose, He soared, The clouds embraced Yet still His power displays God's grace He’ll come again as He ascended Our hope secured, Our souls defended [Verse 2] The angels watched The heavens gleamed His radiant glory was redeemed He left but not to stay away He builds our home for that great day [Bridge] Prepare your heart, Lift up your eyes His kingdom reigns, It never dies Our mansion waits beyond the veil Where mercy sings and love prevails [Chorus] He rose, He soared, The clouds embraced Yet still His power displays God's grace He’ll come again as He ascended Our hope secured, Our souls defended [Verse 3] So let us live with faith anew Each step in love, Each day in truth For soon He’ll call with trumpet’s sound And we’ll ascend where joy is found
