GRANDMA WEEKEND / FB3K / Couch Prophet

V5.5

[Ω::FLOWBOT3000] [ALTER_EGO::COUCH_PROPHET] [INTRO — LOW / LAZY G-FUNK TALK-RAP] Grandma coming Friday. Whole house changed by Thursday. Mom started cleaning things I didn't know could be cleaned. Apparently we have standards when witnesses are coming. [VERSE 1 — PREPARATION] [SMOOTH WEST COAST POCKET] Laundry disappeared from the hallway. Cups vanished from the stairs. Mystery containers got removed from places I considered storage. My room became a national concern. Sheets changed. Window opened. Trash relocated. Whole operation looked temporary. I kept the important stuff. Controller. Charger. Snacks. Privacy. Everything else got classified as visual clutter. That's fair. Presentation matters. Especially around elders. [VERSE 2 — ARRIVAL] [RELAXED / DEADPAN] Grandma pulled up with three bags for a two-day visit. One bag clothes. Two bags food. That's experience. She came in looking around with that quiet face that already knows what happened here. Kitchen got inspected. Living room got inspected. Then she reached my section of the house. I could feel the audit approaching. So I adjusted posture. Sat up straighter. Turned the screen to something educational. Volume low. Very respectable. [HOOK — RAP CHANT / NO SINGING] Grandma in the house, everybody act right. Hide the cups, fix the room, make the couch look nice. Two-day visit, whole house under review. I'm not changing my lifestyle. I'm just improving the view. Grandma in the house. Keep it clean. Keep it calm. Try to look productive till she leaves on Sunday morn'. [VERSE 3 — FOOD] [WARM G-FUNK GROOVE] First evening, food started multiplying. Chicken. Greens. Mac. Cornbread. Pie cooling by the window. This wasn't dinner. This was infrastructure. I had a plate before I knew I had agreed to eat. Then another plate appeared. Then something wrapped in foil for later. Grandma operates on a different economy. No subscription. No delivery fee. No service charge. Just food arriving with authority. I respected that. Strong business model. [VERSE 4 — OBSERVATION] [LOW / CONVERSATIONAL] She noticed everything. How late I woke up. How long I sat down. How many devices were within arm's reach. How often the refrigerator opened without a full meal happening. Nothing got announced. That's what made it worse. Silence with eyebrows. Very advanced technology. I started doing small responsible-looking tasks without being asked. Moved one cup. Folded one shirt. Carried a plate all the way to the kitchen. Not the sink. Let's not rush the transformation. [VERSE 5 — GRANDMA ENERGY] [SLIGHTLY DENSER] Whole weekend got a different rhythm. TV volume lower. House smelled better. Food stayed covered. Nobody left cabinets open. Even Mom started acting like she had management. Grandma sat there comfortable, watching everybody correct themselves in real time. That's power. No speeches. No system. No motivational podcast. Just one woman sitting in a chair making grown people remember home training. I took notes. Not physically. Mentally. Less paperwork. [VERSE 6 — MY ROOM] [DEADPAN / HUMANITY INFUSION] Saturday afternoon she came near my room. I had approximately four seconds to establish credibility. Laptop closed. Game paused. Blanket straightened. Trash pushed out of immediate sight. I sat there looking like a man who reads books. Room still smelled like snacks and poor decisions. But visually? Progress. She looked around for a long second. That long second had chapters. I realized there are people you cannot explain yourself to. Not because they wouldn't understand. Because they already do. [POCKET SHIFT] That's uncomfortable. Very efficient, though. [VERSE 7 — SUNDAY] [WARMER / REFLECTIVE] Sunday moved slower. Coffee in the kitchen. Sun through the blinds. Grandma packing food nobody requested but everybody wanted. Containers stacked. Foil wrapped tight. Names written on the lids. Whole house getting divided into future meals. Then the bags went back by the door. House already felt different before she left. Quieter. Less organized somehow. Like the inspection ended and everybody knew the standards were leaving too. I stood there thinking maybe I should keep some of the room clean. Not all of it. That would be an overreaction. [FINAL VERSE — COUCH PROPHET LOGIC] [LOW / CALM] Grandma weekend taught me something. Comfort has levels. There's regular comfort. Then there's somebody cooking while you sit down and telling you to take food home from the house you already live in. That's premium. Mom calls it being spoiled. I call it multi-generational support. Very stable model. Low risk. Excellent returns. Sunday night I put one container in the fridge, one beside the couch, and left the rest for strategic deployment. Room still cleaner than Friday. Barely. But measurable. [INSTRUMENTAL OUTRO FADE-OUT ]
