--- In my dreams, I used to be a rockstar At every concert, every musical note Reminds me of you, you're in my heart and my mind I can't help but think of you, where you are What you're doing, and if someday I'll see you again In my dreams, I used to be like you In my dreams, I used to be a rockstar Under the spotlight, I’d look for your eyes Hoping you'd be there, cheering me on, With every cheer, you were fueling my soul In my dreams, melodies danced around us Songs of love, that echoed our past In my dreams, we were never apart No matter the distance, no matter how far In my dreams, I used to be a rockstar And even now, I feel the beat of our love In every chorus, I still hear your voice It's a sweet reminder, of the days we had In my dreams, I keep singing for you Ever hopeful, for a future that's bright With every note, sending love through the night Until that day comes, when we reunite In my dreams, I used to be a rockstar In my dreams, I used to be like you In my dreams, I used to be a rockstar And in my heart, you will always be my muse. ---
