When I joined A.I.U., I didn't really know what I was looking for... or if I was looking for anything at all. Something about this community caught my attention enough to give it a chance, even though I've always had a hard time fitting into new groups. To be honest, I still do sometimes. Large conversations can be overwhelming, and communicating in bigger groups has never come naturally to me. But despite that, I've met so many incredible people here. People who inspire me, people I genuinely enjoy spending time with, and people I can share my own little piece of creativity with... something that hopefully deserves to be called music.
