[Verse 1] They preach gold from the pulpit Then they count it in the back Speak Jesus name for a price tag Turn the altar to a rack With your Bible in the spotlight While the poor get pushed aside because you don’t care You can taste that sweet poison When the offering plates collide [Pre-Chorus] Who taught you that lie? Who sold heaven by the mile? You wear a holy smile But your hands are full of fire By the devil [Chorus] False prophets in the house False prophets in the house (Hands up, hands up) You hide behind the devil And call it righteous now False prophets in the house False prophets in the house (We see you, we see you) You use His name for money Then you bow and act proud By the devil [Verse 2] You use Jesus for the cameras For the crowd and for the clout Past the velvet and the banners A wolf in sheep’s clothing without a doubt You feed fear to the families Then you keep the coffers full Making prison out of mercy Making grace look theatrical [Pre-Chorus] Who taught you that lie? Who sold heaven by the mile? You wear a holy smile But your hands are full of fire [Chorus] False prophets in the house False prophets in the house (Hands up, hands up) You hide behind the devil And call it righteous now False prophets in the house False prophets in the house (We see you, we see you) You use His name for money Then you bow and act proud [Bridge] The veil is torn The mask is cracked Every whisper in the sanctuary Comes crawling back You cannot bless What you made to bleed God don’t owe your ego Or your greed [Final Chorus] False prophets in the house False prophets in the house (Hands up, hands up) You hide behind the devil And call it righteous now False prophets in the house False prophets in the house (We see you, we see you) You use Jesus name for money Then you bow and act proud
