Each long weekend in August I find myself drawn back To home away from home, heat and mosquitoes it never lacks That cabin in the woods on a mountain oh so high I'm gonna keep on coming back, up until the day I die Oh it's Family Camp, kids running everywhere The people gather round, there's joy in the air It's Family Camp, one can never be bored You're guaranteed to find renewing in the Lord I better pack for every season, you never know what you'll see Sunshine, rain, hail, and it's not even half past three Even if the nights get chilly I'll be fine by the fire Staying warm, in body and soul, someone brought a deep fryer? Oh it's Family Camp, kids running everywhere The people gather round, there's joy in the air It's Family Camp, one can never be bored You're guaranteed to find renewing in the Lord! What's that, I hear the siren, I know it's time to eat By the time I make it through the line can I even find a seat Seeing the people abuzz never gets old Give my best to the cooks, even the ones volun-told Oh it's Family Camp, kids running everywhere The people gather round, there's joy in the air It's Family Camp, one can never be bored You're guaranteed to find renewing in the Lord! It's Family Camp, kids running everywhere The people gather round, there's joy in the air It's Family Camp, one can never be bored You're guaranteed to find renewing.... in the Lord! Before we get in a hurry... Let's all take a moment To remember the reason we all are here Give thanks to the Lord... For the Good News that He brings Each chapel time it'll be His praises that we sing!!!! It's Family Camp, kids running everywhere The people gather round, there's joy in the air It's Family Camp, one can never be bored You're guaranteed to find renewing.... It's Family Camp, kids running everywhere The people gather round, there's joy in the air It's Family Camp, one can never be bored You're guaranteed to find renewing in the Lord!
