[Intro: Slow, Haunting] When Nightmare fell, the stars went pale, Her broken crown left a ragged trail. From hatred’s ash, a steed awoke, A phantom born of moonlight’s smoke… [pause, the beat of hooves begins softly, like thunder in the distance] [Verse 1: Building Tension] No voice, no face, no soul, no breath, A midnight herald draped in death. Through Hollow Shades his whispers creep, To drag lost ponies down to sleep. [Chorus: Galloping Tempo] Bow not down, nor heed his call, The Pony of Shadows will claim you all. His hollow hooves, his burning eyes, Will chase you ‘til the daylight dies. [Verse 2: Gallop Continues] A cult of night in secret prayed, They vanished deep where shadows stayed. Some say they serve him still, unseen, Their cries are carried in between. [Chorus: Driving, Relentless] Bow not down, nor heed his call, The Pony of Shadows will claim you all. His hollow hooves, his burning eyes, Will chase you ‘til the daylight dies. [Bridge: Pulls Back, Then Surges Again] Through broken stone his hoofbeats fall, Through Hollow Shades, he hunts them all. Step not inside the forest’s vein… Or you’ll be part of his domain. [Final Chorus: Faster, Overlapping Echoes] Bow not down, nor heed his call, The Pony of Shadows will claim you all. His hollow hooves, his burning eyes, Forever where the daylight dies! [hooves pounding fade into silence, like he’s still out there… waiting.]
