Domine, Esto scutum nostrum. Esto gladius noster. In fide stamus. In nomine tuo pugnamus. Amen. Deus Vult! [Verse 1] With the Baltic winds they came Black crosses carried in his Name The banners rose in holy morning light The fields of Rudau called to fight Steel and prayer side by side No man left to hide The Order stood against the storm Waiting for the battle cry [Pre-Chorus] Brothers raise your swords into the sky Stand as one until we die For the cross and Königsberg we fight, Hold the line! [Chorus] Rudau! Hear the battle cry! Raise the banners to the sky! Through the fire Through the rain The black cross rides again! Rudau! Stand or fall today! History remembers this day! Steel and faith Side by side The Order shall survive! [Verse 2] The thunder rolled across the plain Iron met in blood and rain Lances broke and horses fell The battlefield became, a bloody hell Still they held with shield and blade Every vow would now be paid The eagle watched from northern skies No surrender in their eyes [Pre-Chorus] Brothers raise your swords into the sky Stand as one until we die For the cross and Königsberg we fight, Hold the line! [Chorus] Rudau! Hear the battle cry! Raise the banners to the sky! Through the fire Through the rain The black cross rides again! Rudau! Stand or fall today! History remembers this day! Steel and faith Side by side The Order shall survive! [Bridge] When the silence filled the air Only ravens gathered in the sky calling fallen brothers to their King on high Victory written in the sand Bought by every fallen friend [Final Chorus] Rudau! Hear the battle cry! Raise the banners to the sky! Through the fire Through the rain The black cross rides again! Rudau! Let the bells proclaim! Never shall they fade away! Through the years Still we sing Of Rudau's victory! [Outro] Non nobis, Domine, Non nobis, Sed nomini tuo Da gloriam. Requiem aeternam Dona eis, Domine, Et lux perpetua Luceat eis.
