[Verse 1] Found a spoon from yesterday Lipstick print still holding on Coffee stain like modern art Stacked between the plastic bowls [Chorus] I’m having a dishwasher daydream Foam castles climbing the glass Tiny surf in a stainless ocean Watching all my worries wash past I’m having a dishwasher daydream Door closed World on mute Every plate comes out a little lighter Maybe I could Maybe I could too [Verse 2] Forks are tangled Just like us Chipped blue mug The one you loved I hit start The kitchen hums Feels like hitting reset on stuff [Chorus] I’m having a dishwasher daydream Foam castles climbing the glass Tiny surf in a stainless ocean Watching all my worries wash past I’m having a dishwasher daydream Door closed World on mute Every plate comes out a little lighter Maybe I could Maybe I could too
