I was born beneath the mountains Where the roots forget the sun Raised on cave moss Rotgut mushrooms And the rule… You eat or you’re undone Every tunnel tells a story Every scar remembers steel The walls don’t care Who dies inside them Only who walks out… Still breathing Bugbears claimed We’d never matter Hobgoblins barked Like they were kings Now their banners Feed the fungus While I’m wearing All their rings The dwarf who built These ancient hallways Never thought I’d call them home Now I know Every hidden passage Every crack In every stone By the time You hear me laughing… You’ve already Lost your life I’m a goblin… Deez Knuhhhtz is my name! Dungeon born Battle raised The Underdark Knows my fame Swing too slow You’ll feed the worms Forget my face… Remember my name! I’m a goblin… Deez Knuhhhtz is my name! Killed a mimic With a table Watched a rust monster Eat your mail Saw a gelatinous cube Digest a hero Who forgot To check the trail I’ve outrun An owlbear’s hunger Dodged a beholder’s Burning stare Watched a troll Stand back up laughing So I burned The bastard there Found a dragon’s Sleeping treasure Didn’t wake him Didn’t stay Took one coin A silver goblet And his favorite Fork away When the dust has finally settled… I’m the bastard Still standing on. I’m a goblin… Deez Knuhhhtz is my name! Steel and scars Smoke and flame Laughing while You curse my name Too damn stubborn Too insane I’m a goblin… Deez Knuhhhtz is my name! Armor dented Shield in splinters Blood on every Knuckle bone Still standing Still swinging Still making Battlefields my home If death wants Another trophy… He’ll have to earn This ugly soul ’Cause every time He thinks he’s got me… I hit him One more time. I’m a goblin… Deez Knuhhhtz is my name! First one in Last to leave Someone tell me What we stole ’Cause I forgot Halfway through But damn… It glittered like gold I’m a goblin… Deez Knuhhhtz is my name! Got ‘em.
