Hanging On

I’m hanging on to the last light of the night sky Afraid I lost track of time Soon the mornings color will wash the darkness away I’ll be trapped again in the restless day With no clear sight Or fight left in me I’m just hanging on I’m just hanging on I reach for the light beyond the darkness Only finding peace in what’s hopeless Nothing good ever comes easy They say They also tell me I should be afraid BUT I’M NOT AFRAID!!!
