I woke before the morning light, Looking for tomorrow’s road. Coffee warming quiet hands, Setting down another load. So many stories crossed my heart, Each one certain, each one true. Then I found a little mercy… Maybe theirs was different too. I have hi pe today. That’s enough for now. One small sunrise in my hands, One deep, peaceful vow. I don’t need forever. I don’t need to know. Hope today is all I need… To take one step and go. Every turn inside the glass Makes another window shine. Pieces I once feared to hold Now become a new design. Love keeps widening the picture. Grace keeps softening the view. Every heart is telling stories… None completely false or true. Yesterday was my teacher. Tomorrow is my friend. Today is where Life meets me… Again… and again. I have hope today. Joy has found my door. Not because the road is certain… I don’t need that anymore. Love is walking with me. Light is leading on. Hope today is more than enough… To greet another dawn.
