Berimbau, 40 B, tablas, bass, minor key, congas, one-string, rain stick, heavy dark kick drum, tribalistic, ritualism, samples, turntablism

[Intro]
[all lyrics are spoken]
[Sfx sound of panting animal]
[Sfx sound of barking dog]

[Verse]
[spoken]
[berimbau only]

Cutting paths

through stone and grass
A flash of fur

the fall

of pads
The running

of the pack
Alpha
at the head
Blood
on the wind
Betas fan

from the back
Silent

The embodiment of violence
Through the precision of

pack
Elegance

Monstrousness flesh
reformed
Borne
from chaos

You shouldnt have come

Gerald

[Prechorus]
[tablas Thrumming rhythm]
AAAAROOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOO
HUH HUH HUH AAAAAAROOOOOOO
HUHHUHHUHU
[Spoken Word]
[congas begin]
Gerald had seen the tribe
as the moon rose
All casting off
their traditional robes
then bucked bent and roared
They smiled at him with features
Fractured and in flow
Gerald froze
Heard his translator whisper
Half savage half inhuman

RUN RUN RUN
GERALD

RUN

RUNRUNRUNRUN GERALD RRRRRRRRRR
[Verse 2]
[heavy kick begins]
And Gerald
Saw them

extend jaws
Razor lined maws

Eyes like embers

burning dim
Skin that shimmered
 sheared
Fur within grown
out in seconds
He froze watching it appear
A trembling limb paralysis
(“Whuh whuh whuh th’fuh”]
In a rattle phlegmatic croak
One of the tribal folk
as their jaw broke
Spoke

RUN GERALD RUN

RUN GERALD RUN Run run rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

And gerald ran

godamn

he ran
Till his lung screamed

and his body bled
They let him get a headstart
See: Gerald-
 has eyes best suited
For night drives
with headlights
Not
whether you

survive or not
Depends on your sure step
Seeing loose rocks in nights dark
As you would guess
gerald ran himself
into a bloody mess

As he fled in his head he
Thought they thought he knew too much
Seen what they prefer hdden
And would bring attention
To this private old tribe’s
valley of wisdom
Explaining why he he yelled
that there was no one he’d tell
Only to hear
Like a gutteral growl
Half heckle half howl
A foul inhuman voice speak
In an shriek seemingly sung;

RUN GERALD RUN
RUN GERALD RUN

RRRRRRUNNNNNNNNN

But
as the wolves
bore down
The panting
jaw champing sounds
were
Resounding and
there was a simpler truth at hand

It was time to teach their youth
How to hunt
man.

Huh huh huh huh huh huh flank left
Flank right huh huh hub grab earth fly
Huh huh huh huh huh hamstring cut
Prey goes down, bring the circle tight
Claw scratch bite pound huh huh huh
Huh huh huh Here are the veins
Where man bleeds out huh huh huh
Theses bones break best
With a closed fist against the chest just right
And these with claws and bite
Do not dismiss dismemberment
Consider it against groups
Watch where you leave tracks
Stalk from the tall grass walk in the roots
We do this like this
to ensure the tribes existence

huh huh here we come
3. 2. 1. You better

RUN GERALD RUN
RUN GERALD RUN
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUNNNNNNNNN
[howled]
AHHHROOOOOOOOOôôóô

AHHHROOOOOOOOOôôóô

Spoke

RUN GERALD RUN

RUN GERALD RUN Run run rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

And gerald ran

godamn

he ran
