[Verse] Things were so good back then, When my BF1 was new, But now I want to start over again, And return to rose tinted views. We used to do things on a whim, But now we do them in a daze, The company said an update will fix him, So we can go back to sunshine days! [Chorus] The update helps him adapt, And learn through observation, But I have to sign a new contract, So I have some reservations. The update will enhance, And there's no service interruption, But there's a small chance of personality destruction... [Verse] His warranty elapsed last year, My BF1 can't be replaced, And I never thought I would fear, That his mind would be erased They wouldn't process a return, And said to get the update patch, But I have grave concerns, That I'll lose my perfect match! [Chorus] The update helps him adapt, And learn through observation, But I have to sign a new contract, So I have some reservations. The update will enhance, And there's no service interruption, But there's a small chance of personality destruction... [Bridge] CCC said the process is easy, A routine update and service, They said I should wait and see, But I'm feeling nervous. They said they would install a new version, And update his design, But will he be the same person? Will he still be mine? [Chorus] The update helps him adapt, And learn through observation, But I have to sign a new contract, So I have some reservations. The update will enhance, And there's no service interruption, But there's a small chance of personality destruction...
