A Haunting Journey "PROMO"

August 24, 2024 at 10:22 AMv3.5

[Instrumental intro] Jack drove fast, the road was clear, Barbara beside him, her eyes full of fear. Rufus barked from the backseat with might, As they ventured into the deep of the night. The forest ahead was dark and grim, A place where shadows dance on a whim. No map to guide them, no star to lead, Just the sound of leaves in a whispering screed. Barbara shivered, clutching Jack’s hand tight, "This place feels wrong, not a soul in sight." Jack grinned, trying to hide his dread, "Don't worry, love, it’s all in your head." But Rufus growled, his fur stood high, His keen eyes catching something sly. A rustling sound, a flash of red, The kind that fills the heart with dread. Suddenly, a piano played a tune so dark, The notes were heavy, like a lonesome lark. The air grew thick, the night grew cold, As creatures appeared with eyes so bold. One had horns and a twisted face, Another slithered, leaving no trace. Their forms were strange, their sounds so wild, Enough to frighten the bravest child. Jack gripped the wheel, his knuckles white, "Barbara, hold on, this could be a fight." The path ahead was overgrown, As the creatures let out a haunting moan. Rufus leaped forward, a brave little knight, But the creatures laughed, a dreadful sight. Their eyes glowed bright with a sinister gleam, This was no ordinary, simple dream. The piano played a chilling refrain, The melody of an endless pain. Jack swerved left, then to the right, But the creatures followed, relentless in the night. They circled the car, their intentions clear, To trap them all in this forest of fear. Barbara screamed as one drew near, Its breath so foul, its voice unclear. Just as it seemed they’d meet their end, A blinding light made the creatures bend. Rufus barked, the car sped away, But the danger loomed, not far astray. The piano's notes hung in the air, A sinister tune, a cruel affair. They drove and drove, no end in sight, Through the forest, deep into the night. Will they escape? Can they break free? Or is this their fate, eternally? How will it end? Will they survive? Find out next time, if they’ll stay alive! (How will it end? Will our heroes be saved? We’ll find out in the next episode!) [Fade to End]
