A note about this song. I didn’t have a sequel in mind for the prior song “Ambient Views”. However, I have a friend who’s beyond strong and never gives up. She inspired me to finish the “story” with this song about prevailing & reclaiming your life. That tremendous human being is ☆ aStar ☆ https://suno.com/@starverse --------------------------------------------------- [Instrumental intro] [Verse 1] I’m finished living by chance Ohh he put me in a trance Clouds were surrounding Blinding, confounding, mmm hmm… [Pre-chorus] So I tossed into orbit my doubt Threw it away Threw it out... [Chorus 1] Hey farewell! I’m casting away every spell Searching inside Where answers all lie Ohhh yes! He made me feel powerless So farewell… [Instrumental break] [Verse 2] I’ve places to go, places I know Just have to break a few rules Fences and signs won’t alter my line I’m swimming in nature’s pools Floating away in the mist Embracing the enchanting bliss [Chorus 2] Hey farewell! I’m casting away every spell Searching inside Where answers all lie Ohhh yes! Unleashed by the wilderness So farewell… [Instrumental break] [Bridge] Out where the timid meet the free Across the hills darkened by trees Down in the streams cradling leaves Gimme that peace ahh the peace that I need…. [Outro] I’ll be searching inside, Where answers all lie… So I’m off for a while ohhh yes… Sweet captured time oh yes! Went and took it… I kept it… It’s mine… It’s mine. [Instrumental outro]
