I wake up in the middle of the night Confused and cautious I turn my head and look all around I don’t see you or hear a single sound I look down the mountain and in the village I can see it A purple glow The screams of people running from a different threat As I get closer I can see the fires burning around town When I see your face All I see is a rage that is making you numb I come close Whisper your name Then some where inside I can see The beast and fury coming all out I stop your attacks And hold you tight I won’t let you go Please try to remember who I am Calm yourself and come back to Me I can feel the violet fire going cold I can feel your hands begin to shake And now it’s gone I pull you close and put my arms around you I can feel you cry and the confusion all around you I had seen this before and I could tell what Has you so torn I look at you say my love you have been cursed I’ve seen this type of power and it is unnatural You have a piece of you that is not here I was wondering why your flames glow violet And now I know why You have a darkness in you that wants to fight And never let you go The red and blue had found us but this new flame was never made It came alive from the moment we had our war The power that was consuming you was out of your hands I took a step back and began what I had learned My red light flowed through the air And bathed you in my flames I sent a shock that went to your bones As you collapsed I could see it go A shadow and a beast that was let out And ran into the night When I ran my fingers down your face I felt a part of me filling up with fear For as I looked in your eyes I could see Something in you was just not the Same
