V5.5

He is hard, tough as nails, he must cowboy in the rain, the fence he sees is broken, the cattle, are not restrained… Back home in his cozy cabin, his girl is all alone, but the fireplace is burning, he must cowboy it alone His Steed is on the ready, The herd has found the hole, he sees them grazing yonder, in the pasture past the road He rides the steed the harder, tis miserable in this storm , just hat and a poncho, to keep him dry and warm, He sees his milk cow Bessy, she stands out in the crowd, she is next to a red heifer, he must circle his bull and cows, Off to the right a lone coyote, he is glad it’s not a wolf, for wolves are Fearsome hunters, and seldom hunt alone The cowboy makes a decision, For the herd move fast away, he feels help is needed, to cowboy in the rain He turns to trail back, but a friend rides his way, for his wife called a neighbor, to cowboy in the rain… Together the herd is moving, as they cowboy in the rain, back through the open fence, the herd is home again! The neighbor lends a hand, as they mend the fence again, then rides a towards his home, still a cowboy in the rain… Soaked now to the bone, the cowboy takes the reins, and thanks God for his neighbor, Willing to cowboy in the rain!
