Danny the Dragon

[Chorus]
[Group call-and-response vocals, joyful clapping and light bells; energetic and catchy]
Danny the Dragon, da-da-da,
(That’s me!)
Danny the Dragon, rah-rah-rah!
(Roar!)
He’s got a flame that’s warm, not hot,
(Phew, that’s nice!)
Danny the Dragon’s the best friend you’ve got!
(Hooray!)

[Verse 2]
[Ukulele and light percussion continue; playful vocal sound effects; cheerful lead vocal]
I love to eat cupcakes and magical stew,
(Yum-yum-yum!)
I gobble them up with a "Chomp! Chomp!" too!
(Chomp, chomp!)
I wiggle my tail when I hear a tune,
(Wiggle-wiggle!)
And I dance in the light of the silvery moon.
(Let’s dance!)

[Chorus]
[Repeat chorus with added clapping and xylophone sparkle; enthusiastic group voices]
Danny the Dragon, da-da-da,
(Oh yeah!)
Danny the Dragon, rah-rah-rah!
(Rah-rah!)
He’s got a flame that’s warm, not hot,
(Not too hot!)
Danny the Dragon’s the best friend you’ve got!
(High five!)

[Bridge]
[More dynamic percussion with tambourine shakes and hand claps; fun vocalizations]
When I flap my wings, it’s a blustery breeze,
(Whoosh!)
And I sing a dragon song while I tap my knees!
(Tap, tap!)
We’ll laugh and play, it’s a dragon delight,
(He-he-he!)
Let’s all be dragons tonight!
(Roar together!)

[Final Chorus]
[Full group singing with joyous stomps and claps; melodic bells and xylophone flourishes]
Danny the Dragon, da-da-da,
(That’s me!)
Danny the Dragon, rah-rah-rah!
(Roar!)
He’s got a flame that’s warm, not hot,
(So cozy!)
Danny the Dragon’s the best friend you’ve got!
(Woohoo!)

[Outro]
[Softer, warm ukulele strum; gentle clapping; friendly lead vocal]
So if you hear a "Roar!" that’s not too loud,
(Roar!)
It’s just me, Danny, making you proud!
(Aww!)
I’ll dance and sing with a dragon-y cheer,
(Let’s go!)
Let’s all be friends—Danny’s here!
(Big dragon hug!)
Danny the Dragon, da-da-da,
(That’s me!)
Danny the Dragon, rah-rah-rah!!!
