Emma wakes up early. She brushes her hair and smiles. Pol is still sleeping. “Wake up, Pol!” she says. He opens one eye. “My tummy hurts!” says Pol. Emma laughs, “Maybe you ate too much chocolate!” They go to the bathroom. Emma says, “You should wash your hands.” Pol answers, “I did! But I didn’t brush my teeth.” Emma points, “Look! That’s my toothbrush, not your one!” Pol laughs. “Oops, sorry! I always mix them!” After breakfast, they run to school. Emma says, “What are you doing now?” “I’m running fast!” Pol shouts. “But you shouldn’t run in the hall,” says Emma. In class, Miss Lora smiles. “Did you do your homework?” she asks. “Yes, I did,” says Emma. “No, I didn’t,” says Pol. Everyone laughs. Miss Lora says kindly, “You should listen more, Pol.” At the end of the lesson, Emma whispers, “My elbow hurts a bit.” Pol touches her arm and says, “You’re strong, Emma!” She smiles. “Yes, I am! Stronger than you!” (Music fades out with a cheerful bell sound.)
