(Translation: “Asasara, queen upon the high place, / Mistress of brightness in twilight. / Dwelling in the mountain of breath, / The sacred one who touches all paths.”) [Chant 1] A-sa-sa-ra! Qa-na-sa! Pa-ja-re! Na-da-sa i-du-ma si-ti-ri, Ku-ro e-na-ra a-ta-na! (Translation: “Asasara! Ruler! Hear us! / Lady of wisdom in the caves, / High light of the sacred sky!”) [Verse 2] Me-to-si du-pu-i-ja i-du-na, pi-na-ka-re a-qi-ja ri-ta. Ka-na-to i-sa-ra pu-na-sa, u-na-ka i-ta-na du-ma-ri. (Translation: “You hold the mountain in your hand, / Giver of tables and sacred rhythm. / The golden one who moves the winds, / Unseen mother in the darkness.”) [Chant 2] Qa-na-sa, qa-na-sa, ja-du-ra me-si! A-sa-sa-ra u-ka-na qa-qa-ri! Du-ma-ri, tu-na-ri, i-da-ma re-si! (Translation: “Queen, queen, guide us in dream! / Asasara, you burn in the fire! / Spirit-keeper, bringer of deep light!”) [Verse 3] Pa-ra-ne ja-sa-ne a-ma-ta, ni-na-si re-ka-ne su-i-ti. I-da-ma qa-re-ne su-ka-ra, qe-ra-ja ʾi-du-ti tu-na-sa. (Translation: “You dance through jasmine flame, / Whispering wind across fields. / Mountain-born, sky-watcher, sacred mover, / You awaken hidden light.”) [Chant 3] Tu-me a-qi-ja! Ja-na-ta na-qa-sa! A-sa-sa-ra! Pa-i-da! Qa-ri-na! Si-ti-ri e-na-ra! I-du-na ta-ra! (Translation: “Give rhythm, O giver! Fire us with breath! / Asasara! Holy one! Radiant flame! / Wisdom in brightness! Reveal the path!”) [Verse 4] Ni-ku-ra i-sa-ru a-ru-ka, ta-pi-ni ja-sa-sa-ra me-ta. I-ya-sa su-na-sa ru-ta-qi, a-ta-na qe-ra e-na-ra-ti. (Translation: “You flow like sacred wine, / Crowned lady of the deep heart. / Breathing spirit, born of roots, / You rise in holy brightness.”) [Chant 4] A-sa-sa-ra, a-ta-na! Ja-na-ta qa-na-sa! Me-ta i-du-ma si-ti-ri i-da-ma! Su-ka-ra ja-sa-sa-ra! Tu-na-ta ne-qi! (Translation: “Asasara, rise! Rule and shine! / Deep holder of wisdom and breath! / Sacred flame, Asasara! Ignite the unseen!”)
