Verse 1 A king is born, but hidden from many in a small village, in a stable, in the town called Bethlehem. And you, Bethlehem in the land of Judah, are by no means the least among the princely cities of Judah; for out of you will come a prince who will shepherd my people Israel. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Chorus Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. “God with us,” wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, whose reign shall have no end. Verse 2 The love of God was revealed in his Son, Jesus Christ, Savior of mankind, who took upon himself the sin of the world, and to all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name, in the name of the Savior, the Lord of lords, and everyone who lives and believes in me will not die forever. Do you believe that? Then Jesus said, "You believe because you have seen me. How happy are those who have not seen me and yet believe! Have you also rejected him, or do you believe in him as your Savior, who redeemed you from sin, the fallen nature of man, and washed you clean with his blood of forgiveness, which flowed for you? You are not stupid, and you only believe what you can see, smell, and taste, right? The fact that you are still alive is a tremendous miracle, because you cannot see the air you need to breathe, and yet you breathe the invisible into your lungs. Think about whether it would not be reasonable to believe in your Creator and His Son?
