[Verse 1] [baritone male vocals, rubato] I dreamed a dream in which I sang A melody pure and sweet As I bowed down before God's throne And worshipped at His feet [Verse 2] And as I sang my song of praise A heavenly chorus rang And myriads of angels joined with me And worshipped as I sang [Chorus] We sang of God's amazing love His mercy and His grace And as we sang His glory shone Throughout that heavenly place [Verse 3] I knelt before my Savior With a spirit now set free And the love I felt within my soul Was my Father's love for me [Outro] I woke in wonder at the dream And searched for pen to write But God spoke gently, "There's no need It's written in your heart"
