From hollow dark, from nothing yet unnamed, Five voices rose where only stillness reigned. Five sparks in night, five wills awoken whole, They broke the hush and shaped the soul. Ignar, the fire, fierce and bright, Aquaries, waters deep as night. Thera, the earth of stone and bone, Aereas, the winds unthroned. Sylvaris, ether, binding all, From word and breath the first world called. Mountains climbed from molten flame, Rivers learned the path of name. Forests breathed, the oceans turned, By ancient hands the world was formed. Yet in this beauty, wide and fair, The gods beheld a hollow air. For all was shaped, yet none would guard, A living world, unclaimed, unmarred. From fire and flood, from soil and sky, They forged the wardens, born to fly. The ancient dragons, scaled and vast, Each bound to elements they cast. In balance long the dragons stood, Till pride took root in youthful blood. Their numbers grew, so did desire, Each sought the deepest wells of fire. No dragon wished to share the flame, And thus began the breaking claim. The earth convulsed, the heavens bled, Storms of fire where cities fed. Blood filled rivers, death took form, Love unmade by endless storm. Ignar burned the skies to ash, Aquaries drowned the past. Thera split with thundered cry, Aereas tore the world awry. Sylvaris wept through shattered space, As war devoured the maker’s grace. The dragons faded into smoke, The gods fell silent, their covenant broke. What remained was power untamed, A shattered world, a magic unchained. Yet deep below where hope still lies, The ether waits, the one that binds.
