Holdin’ On Strong

Old-school Christian rap, style, 85 BPM, deep low bass, funky synths, crisp snares, male vocals

Verse 1 Nine hours deep, 26 bikes in the bag, $123 cash, man, that pay’s a drag. Heat’s a beast, sinuses screamin’ loud, Workin’ for my girls, I’m standin’ proud. Chorus Holdin’ on strong, through the grind I stay, Faith in my heart, lightin’ up my way. No time to rest, but I’ll push it through, Lord, lift me up, give me strength to make it through. Verse 2 This job was king, beat all I’d known, Now I’m stumblin’, tryin’ to reclaim my throne. DoorDash flopped, week’s been a curse, But my girls are my why, I’ll reverse the hurt. Chorus Holdin’ on strong, through the grind I stay, Faith in my heart, lightin’ up my way. No time to rest, but I’ll push it through, Lord, lift me up, give me strength to make it through. Bridge Hour drive home, tired to the bone, Sinus pain hittin’, feelin’ all alone. This job’s a weight, but I’ll carry on, With God by my side, I’ll see the dawn. Chorus Holdin’ on strong, through the grind I stay, Faith in my heart, lightin’ up my way. No time to rest, but I’ll push it through, Lord, lift me up, give me strength to make it through. Outro Yeah, I’m rollin’ out, faith’s my strength, through the heat and pain, I’ll still survive. ©2025 By Matthew E Treviño
