Got help from a guitarist And had singing lessons too Recorded a song - it wasn't long Until the dream came true, But... Although offered a publishing deal The help I'd gained was brief I was left on my own which meant The deal couldn't be achieved. V3. I continued to play keyboards And got together with some guys People far better than me Once again I realised… The 'A' Route it had to be But I guess I always knew really. V4. I wanted to do it my way But didn’t quite succeed I tried to take the ‘B’ road But took the ‘A’ route eventually. CH.
