Hebrews 3

V6

My brothers and sisters, we have been called to share in something heavenly. So take a good look at Yahushua the Messiah, the one sent to us by Elohim and the High Priest of the faith we openly declare. Yahushua was faithful to the One who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in everything Elohim entrusted to him. But Yahushua has been given greater honor than Moses. Think about a house. The person who builds it deserves greater honor than the building itself. Every house has someone who built it, but Elohim is the builder of everything. Moses was a faithful servant in the house of Elohim. His service pointed toward things that would be revealed later. But Yahushua is not simply a servant in the house. He is the Son entrusted with authority over it. And we are that house, as long as we hold firmly to our confidence and continue rejoicing in our hope until the very end. Now listen to the warning given by the Ruach Hakodesh. Today, when you hear the voice of Yahuah, do not close your hearts to him. Remember what happened in the wilderness, when the people of Israel rebelled and put him to the test. Their ancestors challenged him, even though they had witnessed his mighty works for forty years. Yahuah was grieved by that generation because their hearts continually wandered away from him. They refused to understand his ways, despite everything they had seen. So in his anger, he made a solemn declaration. They would not enter into his rest. And this is why we must be careful. Brothers and sisters, do not allow unbelief to grow inside your hearts until it turns you away from the living Elohim. Instead, encourage one another every single day, while we still have the opportunity. Sin can deceive us. It can make our hearts grow harder without us even realizing what is happening. We share in Messiah if we continue holding firmly to the confidence we had when we first believed, all the way to the end. So listen again to that warning. Today, when you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts the way Israel did during the rebellion. Now think about the people who came out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses. Some of them heard the voice of Yahuah and still chose to rebel. But not everyone who left Egypt joined that rebellion. Who caused Yahuah to grieve for forty years? It was those who sinned, the ones whose bodies fell in the wilderness. And who were the people he declared would never enter his rest? They were the ones who refused to believe him. So now we understand what kept them from entering. It was their unbelief.
