After trials, errors, and much frustration, it has finally reached a conclusion that I am satisfied with, and I now present it to you. I believe the character portrayed by this song is one of the most clearly conveyed: an oppressive would-be tyrant, one who blasphemes against the divine. Striking fear in the hearts of their opponents not with mere force, but with elegant cunning. Acting with unwavering confidence and assurance in their self-worth. While my previous song [HERITOR] illuminates the inner journey of one pure of heart but unprepared to rule, [USURPER] depicts a conflict with one corrupted by hubris, assured beyond doubt of their right to rule. Witness their glory and the weight of their overwhelming might. Face the pressure of their ever-evolving strategems. Resist the temptations of their tongue laced with deceit.
