The Sword's Song

V6

[Verse 1] Wanderer returns to the Kingdom of Men, The elven army marches once again. He knows they fight against their own will, And does not want to harm them still. He raises the Sword into the sky, Its sudden light blinds every eye. The marching elves are forced to cease, As Wanderer silently begs for peace. [Inner Thought — quiet, almost whispered] Gods of old, hear my plea... Give me the strength to set them free. [Chorus] Then something stirs within the blade, A distant song begins to fade. The techno-spell begins to bend, And golden sparks descend. The code grows weak, the chains grow thin, A hidden light awakens within. Some elven minds return to the day, While others still remain astray. [Verse 2] No one had known what power it held, No ancient tale had ever told. The Sword was forged to fight the dark, Yet somehow touched the captive hearts. Some elves let fall their weapons slow, Some wake beneath the fading glow. But many still remain confined, Still hearing orders in their minds. [Bridge — quiet, sorrowful] The human fields are scarred with loss, Too many lives have paid the cost. This is no victory, no songs of praise, Just one small hope within the haze. [Final Chorus] The code grows weak, but not for all, Some rise again, while others fall. The elven army starts to divide, As stolen minds return inside. The humans breathe, the battle slows, But no one knows how far it goes. A fragile chance now lights the way, Where none had lived to hope that day. [Outro — distant elven choir] The fading voices disappear... A distant whisper touches the air... A hidden song remains somewhere... Its echo carries on.
