[Verse 1] I took the long way home Found a cart by the curb One red cherry on top Like a dare in a word Thumbprint on the stem Little grin, little spark You were all I could think of In the parking lot dark [Pre-Chorus] Slow down I’m leaning in One bite And I’m gone again Sweet tooth On a runaway You say jump I say okay [Chorus] Cherry picker, cherry picker I want the bright one first Cherry picker, cherry picker Let me chase that burst Cherry picker, cherry picker Pick me out that sweet Cherry picker, cherry picker Right off my feet [Verse 2] Paper bag in my hand Cold wind on my face Bumper dents on the van And a smile I can’t place I keep choosing the spark Over keeping it safe If it burns, let it burn I was built for the taste [Pre-Chorus] Slow down I’m leaning in One bite And I’m gone again Sweet tooth On a runaway You say jump I say okay [Chorus] Cherry picker, cherry picker I want the bright one first Cherry picker, cherry picker Let me chase that burst Cherry picker, cherry picker Pick me out that sweet Cherry picker, cherry picker Right off my feet [Bridge] [Half-time] One red light One green light I never wait too long One small chance One bold glance And I’m already gone [Chorus] Cherry picker, cherry picker I want the bright one first Cherry picker, cherry picker Let me chase that burst Cherry picker, cherry picker Pick me out that sweet Cherry picker, cherry picker Right off my feet
