Oh what a SKA-lar

What type of person shouts "Oh, what a scholar!" I attended some BS lecture (100% not by choice) on some horseshit psychological topic that was related to teaching. Guy was a ph.d and a professor at a well known undergrad. Some woman next to me kept shaking her head agreeing the whole time as if he was talking to her personally 20 rows back. Then when the lecture was done she stood up and applauded with the program in her hand and said "Oh, what a scholar!" Not loud enough for him to hear but loud enough for 6 rows to hear. What kind of person is this? "Oh, what a scholar!" "Oh, what a scholar!" "Oh, what a scholar!" "Oh, what a scholar!"
