Lightning Ash (Emerald Tablet 6)
I climbed through storms where the black winds howled, Past broken statues and forgotten crowns, Lightning split skies over temples fallen, Ash in the air from the pride of kings. The path grew narrow with each step taken, Old fears rising I thought were buried, Voices from shadows whispering softly, βTurn back now β truth destroys comfort.β But something deeper kept pulling forward, Not pride, not ego, not hunger for power, More like the soul remembering fragments, Like ancient echoes calling me homeward. Light through the fracture, fire through stone, Storms may rise but the soul stands strong, Stars above and the world below, As within so the rivers flow. Light through the fracture, calm in the storm, Dust to the stars where the old paths form, Seek and the hidden gate unfolds, Truth lives quiet in the centred soul. I reached the chamber beneath the thunder, No gods waiting β only my own hunger, All the ambitions I carried secretly, Need for approval disguised as destiny. Mind-state drifting through old attachments, Building identity through achievements, Searching outside for internal peace, Like success alone could quiet the grief. Quick shift β pulse lifts β deep breath centred, Storm breaks β walls shake β soul-state enters, Cold eyes β still mind β fear dissolving, Truth cuts clean when the heart stops running. Then came silence louder than language, No visions, no voices, no cosmic statements, Only awareness stripped back completely, Like the universe breathing directly through me. And in that stillness I finally understood β The ancients werenβt chasing power or godhood, They were mastering balance within their spirit, Learning not to become ruled by fear. Because every empire falls through excess, Every strong mind collapses through obsession, Every man eventually faces himself, Alone with the truth beyond wealth and status. When I left the mountain the storm still raged, Same loud world with its endless noise and chase, But something inside no longer reacted, Like the centre held firm while chaos danced around it. And maybe enlightenment ainβt becoming untouchable, Maybe itβs staying soft in a world that grows uncomfortable, Holding your light without needing control, Walking through darkness without losing your soul.
