[Verse 1] You pinned a cloud On a corkboard wall Little note under it “Proof I was here at all” You lined up jars Each one labeled “April rain” Kept the cracks in your coffee cup Said they spelled my name [Chorus] Mirabiliary Where you keep the strange and sweet Every odd and shining memory Filed in boxes at your feet Mirabiliary You’re the curator of my days Tagging every tiny moment So it never fades away [Verse 2] Ticket stubs From a movie we left halfway You framed the stub, not the kiss Said the kiss would stay You saved the thread From my fraying winter sleeve “Someday you’ll need the proof,” you laughed “That you ever learned to leave” [Chorus] Mirabiliary Where you keep the strange and sweet Every odd and shining memory Filed in boxes at your feet Mirabiliary You’re the curator of my days Tagging every tiny moment So it never fades away [Bridge] If we shatter If we scatter You’ll still have the evidence Pressed inside your secret atlas Every heartbeat On a page Every almost Every age You’ll say, “Look, we lived right here” And I’ll believe you (I’ll believe you) [Chorus] Mirabiliary Where you keep the strange and sweet Every odd and shining memory Filed in boxes at your feet Mirabiliary If I vanish, keep this too One last label in your ledger: “I was loved And it was you”
