The morning sun is shining bright, The Kingdom Hall's alive with light. We greet our friends with smiles so wide, Our witnessing cart is rolled outside. A special event fills the stadium, Thousands gathering, every one. We head out with expectant hearts, Ready for this joyful part. We find a spot that's easy to see, Along the wide concourse so free. There's plenty of room for folks to stroll, While friendly conversations roll. Some simply smile and wave hello, Some pause because they want to know. A friendly question starts the day, And conversations come our way. What a joyful way to spend the day, Standing where the people pass. A smile, a greeting, a kind hello, And moments seem to last. Every question opens doors, One conversation at a time. Serving Jehovah fills our hearts, And makes this day sublime. The sun sinks low, the crowds grow thin, We pack the little cart again. We're heading home with grateful hearts, Remembering each friendly start. Several stopped to truly hear, Their honest questions warm and clear. We look ahead with grateful prayer, To gladly visit and be there. Every seed that's gently sown, May someday find good ground. A quiet word, a listening ear, Can let true hope be found. Jehovah gives the growth in time, In ways we cannot see. We're thankful just to have a share, In this happy ministry. What a joyful way to spend the day, Standing where the people pass. A smile, a greeting, a kind hello, And moments seem to last. Now there are friends we'll meet again, Returning with a hopeful smile. Following up with those who care, Makes every step worthwhile. Serving Jehovah day by day, We're thankful for our part. Homeward bound with songs to sing, And joy within our heart.
