Once I was alive, I carried so much pain, A world of whispers calling out my name. I sealed away the madness in the cherry tree, Now I walk in shadows, where no one can see. The petals fall, like memories long past, A life forgotten, fading oh so fast. I smile, I jest, with laughter in my voice, But deep inside, I had no choice. I'm just a ghost in the netherworld sky, A princess of sorrow, though I don’t know why. I call the souls to rest beneath the bloom, But there's no light to fill this empty room. I long to be forgotten, yet I'm here to stay, A fleeting flower that withered away. Innocence is buried under that cursed tree, A life that's lost, yet still a part of me. The world above, they fear what they can’t know, But all I wanted was to let it go. You fear the death I carry in my hand, But it's the weight of life I can’t understand. Though I laugh and play, it hides the storm inside, A dance with destiny, nowhere to hide. I'm just a ghost in the netherworld sky, A princess of sorrow, though I don’t know why. I call the souls to rest beneath the bloom, But there's no light to fill this empty room. I long to be forgotten, yet I'm here to stay, A fleeting flower that withered away. I sought the bloom to bring me back again, But in the end, it's all the same refrain. The beauty of the blossom hides the pain I bear, But I remain, forever trapped in air. So here I stand, beneath the ghostly moon, A spirit lost, with a heart out of tune. The cherry tree will never bloom for me, But still I linger, longing to be free. A fleeting flower… that withered away.
