[female spoken] There's a story I need to tell. It starts with a stranger, and ends... well, that's the part I still need to figure out! Just listen close. [verse one] He found me at the park that day, I was tossing crumbs to the pigeons, feet sunk in the grass. October came in cold and mean, and there he was by the path, near the old bandstand, folded up like a coat dropped in the muddy land. I stepped in close to ask if he was alright, he turned his face away, as if he might give me a fright! and when he asked me to help him into the shade, I led him to the bench, past Mrs. Henderson's gate!!! [pre-chorus] But the porch light bulb burned over the stoop, I could see the living room light bright shining in the room [Chorus] (Clap, clap, clap) We were moving past the old town clock, (Clap, clap, clap) I held his coat as he nearly tripped over a rock!, (Clap, clap, clap) He said his name was 'Ray!' (Clap, clap, clap) He said he was allergic to the sun, I said, Let's get you inside to rest!!! [Verse 2] We made it to his front door now, He let go and put the key and turned it round, He said the daylight was harsch on his skin, it was pale and light and very thin, But daylight would burn it more, If he stayed out it would burn him more!!! [pre chorus] But the porch light bulb burned over the stoop, I could see the living room light bright shining in the room [Chorus] (Clap, clap, clap) We were moving past the old town clock, (Clap, clap, clap) I held his coat as he nearly tripped over a rock!, (Clap, clap, clap) He said his name was 'Ray!' (Clap, clap, clap) He said he was allergic to the sun, I said, 'Let's get you inside to rest!!! [verse three] Just then I felt a thump against my head, and I heard my own heart ,pounding in my chest, what just happened, 'I was afraid!' suddenly I was inside his living room! I asked him, why he hit me so! He said he didn't really know, as daylight was fading fast, he started looking younger, stronger, like a man, I was trying to understand, 'I'm a vampire so that's who I am!! [verse Verse four] He stood there a moment too long, not looking at me, just looking forlorn, 'I asked why I was tied up?' He said it was for my own good, I asked him what was going to happen to me? He said, he just needed one thing, I thought what does a vampire want out of me? Oh oh NOOooo!!! I screamed!!! [Verse five] He said to stay still, as he needed to feed, he grabbed my arm, and he started to proceed, I asked if I was going to die, He said, 'no, I won't drink all of it. but was that just a big LIE!!! [Outro] Every Halloween we go together to the bench outside, waiting for somebody to come by, we had our performance down pat, so we always got blood from somebody, It became our yearly feed and because we just wanted it, we had a strong need! So if your sitting on a bench during sunlight on Halloween, we may just sit and wait for you to SEEeee!!!! ..........................................................................................................[instrumental]......................
