The Saga of Jōb
They called him Jōb, Moses told, a story of extraordinary faith, a test severe, so very severe, it should break his very soul ... The sons of God of different worlds came to meet with God, but came among the sons of God was one who held no world... From where do you come, O wayward son, did I assign you a world, the wayward son answered God, from Adam I took a world! You speak of Earth, Adam lost earth, have you considered Jōb, a faithful man, a righteous man, none more so than he?" Lifting his voice, the wayward son, said it's all because you protect him so, take all that he has, and you will see, you protect him so, from me! He is in your hand, but understand, you may not harm him, physically, but go your way, you will see, Jōb is a man of integrity! There was a gasp from the sons of God, never before was this seen, for the wayward son, was the very one, who caused trouble for Father God! O What a scene, what can this mean, is not God defender of all, but what test is this, and to Jōb's defense, what man deserves such a test? As Jōb was about to eat, news came of a great defeat, a messenger came, the Sabeans came and stole the donkeys and oxen away, and I alone have escaped... And as he spoke, another came, said fire fell from God, the servants and sheep, were burned as if wheat, and I alone have escaped... During his speech, another came forth, the Chaldeans have killed your men, and the camels they watched were taken away, I alone have escaped... And before he was done, one came on the run, to tell of a tragic demise, all your children are done, left is no one, but I alone have escaped! Jōb tore his clothes, shaved in disgrace, but did not say much more than this... The Lord gave and has taken away, blessed is the name of the Lord! Then came again the sons of God, upon the moon made new, and the wayward son, to surprise everyone, came again, representing Earth... And Father God said, you did as i said, and did Jōb, sin or fall away? And the wayward son, said he did as you said, he did not sin or fall away... But flesh for flesh, strike him in his flesh, and he will curse you, even to your face, for health is man's wealth, And if he has health, all other things can pass away... Go your way, do as you say, but you must not take his life? And you can only touch Jōb, you must not touch his wife, And we shall see who of us is right! O What a scene, what can this mean, is not God defender of all, but what test is this, and to Jōb's defense, what man deserves such a test? Such is stress, you might have guessed, When Jōb from the crown of his head, down to his toes, boils so painful did grow... Till a human he did not resemble, then came his wife, to cut his heart like a knife, said why don't you curse God and die!?! O friends do you think this all happened, Do you think God would allow such a test, As I look around this late hour, I see God does give his righteous some tests... Come back next time as again we dive into the saga of Job, or trouble begins when he meets his friends and then speaks directly to God!
