✢────────── 𝔊 ──────────✢ Awakened, unable now to silence voice An echo of touch in which overjoys I cannot deny the calling noise Nor set myself free from choice So I stare with longing into the deep Where fever boils beneath deep sleep I hear it whisper softly in a peep While trembling began to creep Unless I unfurl these truths into the world Night will unfold its blackened curtain curled While sweetness offered danger furled I lose myself, my soul, my wits pearled No words meant to vanish with the moment Could tell how longing disguised emotion To knock upon my sleeping with devotion Fitting in the holding while being broken The offered deathbound lovebed calls me in I hear its breathing, unconfined, forbidden Pale blue stretches beneath fading ruin And something in me maps the origin therein I called it mistaken, mistaking prefix Then slept as though upon the River Styx Felt galaxies touch my desiccated lips While brokenness found tender fingertips I stilled into that bliss before the rupture Then shattered, unable to summon any structure Could I not respect the wishes love had captured Had I not wept enough for the departure The hunter, constant, prowling just behind Had left me accusing all things, confined The shade was never prison, but a prism Reflecting all I cannot hold or tame So I channel it through these narrow rows Compulsive little vessels of prose Awakened beneath skin as a daily dose Tempting woe by eternal repose I could not root my thorns beneath my own So now I leave the cold gardens for home To somewhere I can no longer be sown And let their wounded gardens grow alone Fear cannot estrange what desire would enthrall Peril ripens its vintage beneath the black pall Desire drinks from the Reaper bereft of release Till opulent oblivion cradles me in peace ✢────────── 𝔊 ──────────✢ Written in 𝔊ray © 2026 ✢──────────────────────✢
