Spoken Word Opera -Oops, that love song was to myself.
Not that I talk to myself in Second-person self talk, as "you" instead of “I” to be my own coach. I came up with so many more lyrics acting like you too. I came up with so many more lyrics acting like you too. I won’t sing “he” or “him” either. I changed Your love is true, that was to myself, to My love is true. First-Person “Myself" and "I", supposedly keeps the you deeply tied to the immediate moment and raw emotion. So that changed the energy of the song. If use the word “myself" it’s not the same as saying "yourself" in self-talk. Those are different grammatical persons that create different psychological perspectives. Grammatical Differences are that “Myself is a first-person reflexive pronoun, connecting back to "I”. It supposedly keeps the “you””locked” in the yous’ own first-person perspective and personal experience. And Saying “Yourself”, is a second-person reflexive pronoun. It connecting back to the “you”. Communication is supposedly how all things get done. So what am I supposed to do?
