Choose Jesus

[Verse 1] They told me faith was borrowed Like something passed along But I can't ride your footsteps When my own road feels strong I stood there at the crossing With my name on the sign And I heard the quiet question What will you choose tonight? [Pre-Chorus] You can't answer for me I can't answer for you When the door is open wide We all must walk through [Chorus] Choose Jesus Choose Jesus On your own two feet Choose Jesus Choose Jesus Make it yours and keep it [Verse 2] My mother prayed before me My father held the line But grace is not a hand-me-down It meets me in my time I won't hide behind the crowd now I won't let fear decide When the call is in my heartbeat I will step into the light [Pre-Chorus] You can't answer for me I can't answer for you When the door is open wide We all must walk through [Chorus] Choose Jesus Choose Jesus On your own two feet Choose Jesus Choose Jesus Make it yours and keep it [Bridge] If the world goes one way I'll still know where I stand Not because I was carried But because I reached His hand One by one, we come alive No one else can take our place Every soul says yes out loud Every heart can find His face [Final Chorus] Choose Jesus Choose Jesus On your own two feet Choose Jesus Choose Jesus Make it yours and keep it Choose Jesus Choose Jesus That's the way to live Choose Jesus Choose Jesus Give Him all you give
