A silent, perfect lie. Straight lines... keep you numb... Need a different sky. The pulse... under the street... Wrong beat. Wrong beat. IS IT BURNING AWAY? IS IT BURNING A LIE? THIS BEAUTIFUL FIRE... THIS BLACK SNOW FROM THE SKY? There. A spark. An orange tongue... Licking at the bone. The city's skin... comes undone... A final, lovely groan. The windows... closing their eyes... No more surprise. IT'S BURNING AWAY! IT'S BURNING THE LIE! THE BLACK SNOW FALLS FOR ME... A BLANKET FROM THE SKY! Open palms... feel the heat... Open smile... so sweet... Catching the ash on my face... Erasing this whole place... EVERYTHING I USED TO BE... BLACK SNOW! BLACK SNOW! BURN IT! BURN IT! SET ME FREE! IT BURNED AWAY! IT BURNED THE LIE! I BREATHE THE SMOKE AND I... I AM THE BLACK SNOW IN THE SKY!
