[Verse] The wise men saw a shining star Glowing bright from lands afar A sign divine to guide their way To Bethlehem where hope would stay [Verse 2] Golden gifts and incense rare They journeyed long with hearts in prayer Through desert sands and nights so cold To see a prophecy unfold [Chorus] Star of Bethlehem burn so bright Lead us to the child this night God has come to earth below In a humble manger's glow [Verse 3] In the stable with a gentle cry God as a baby Tears running dry Mother Mary Joy in her eyes A miracle beneath the skies [Bridge] Shepherds kneel with hearts so true Angels sing the good news too All of heaven's light has shone To welcome Jesus On His throne [Chorus] Star of Bethlehem burn so bright Lead us to the child this night God has come to earth below In a humble manger's glow
