Stillness in My Breath v2

V6-WILD

Black magic putting a spell on me, Making it easier for my soul to soar free. Golden terpenes filling the joints in me, Questioning if it's worth it— Pain for a paycheck, Selling my time on purpose. Gravity pulling me into the couch, Red-eyed clarity, I'll endure it. Grave walking for a lifestyle I'm unsure of. Half lotus, legs locked, Mudra locking in the current. Saving just enough To find stillness Till the end of my eternity. Close my eyes and drop my guard, Pulling my focus within me. Emotions rise with intensity, Drifting down their stream. Feeling everything— Grief to love. Bliss shines bright. Focus in and charge it high. My internal flame blinds my eyes. Feeling my bones pulse with my heartbeat. My body begins to levitate... At least it feels that way. A still mind. Nothing on the screen Except electrical reds, blues, and greens In a pink haze With a white ring Pulsing to a ball on repeat. Charging the soul To help get me through the night. Coming back daily For little pieces of light. Integrating with my shadows, Seeing where my mind goes. Floating above the maze, I'm not lost anymore. Looking at past selves Scattered across the internal shore. Opened my eyes Still crying from the relief. Head to the lair, Put clouds of smoke in the air, Before I go sit back down And face whatever waits. Three hours in... This is just the intermission. Black magic in my lungs. Black magic up there. Bubble the bong and hold it in. Walk out back and sit down. Full moon held high. Nature breathing me While I drift in a haze. Bats clicking Without any cares. Half lotus on an old tree stump In this long graveyard night. Stillness in my chest. Stillness in my breath. You would think I died— Short and shallow. I can't clock it. Bones still glued with dabs. Untethered from reality's door. My spirit flies high, Connecting to the stars in the sky. Afterwards I walked inside. Dawn was already waiting at the door. The night never felt that long. The weight never came back. Tomorrow can have what's left of me. Tonight belonged to the soul.
