The Silence Has Heard You (wip)

V6

[OPENING — MOSTLY INSTRUMENTAL] [very low sustained room tone] [one slow downtuned guitar figure] [leave large spaces between phrases] [no cymbal wash] [do not build quickly] [distant metallic resonance] [repeat the same figure; do not introduce a new riff] [THE FIRST EYES BEGIN TO OPEN] [one faint high harmonic enters] [then another] [floor tom pulse, slow and ceremonial] [no screaming] [no lead vocal] [allow tension to come from repetition] [very distant whisper] The hour of waking was near. [INSTRUMENTAL] [same low riff returns] [slightly greater weight] [do not increase speed] [bass becomes immense beneath the guitar] [occasional asymmetric drum accent; subtle, not frantic] [more distant harmonics appear above the riff as additional eyes open] [THE PRELATE RISES] [keep the original riff] [make it physically larger rather than busier] [second guitar enters one octave above] [huge toms] [low industrial impact beneath selected downbeats] [very little high-frequency percussion] [low rasp, almost spoken] The noise carried deeper. [INSTRUMENTAL ASCENT] [gradually introduce double-kick underneath the existing pulse] [do not change to a new riff] [brief flashes of dissonant guitar feedback] [cathedral resonance widening] [pressure increasing] [everything abruptly stops] [long empty room tone] [one breath] [whisper] It heard you. [complete silence] [THE PRELATE SCREAMS] [ONE sustained inhuman scream — no intelligible words] [begin as a raw throat scream] [slowly add a huge low guttural layer beneath it] [then a thin unnatural high overtone above it] [guitar feedback rises into the exact contour of the scream] [the boundary between voice and amplifier disappears] [hold far longer than comfortable] [the room itself seems to resonate] [DO NOT add another vocal scream] [THE SCREAM BECOMES THE DOWNBEAT] [CATASTROPHIC HALF-TIME RIFF] [lowest possible guitar register] [extremely simple] [huge space between impacts] [each downbeat heavier than the last] [full drums now permitted] [violent but controlled] [the sensation is a massive flood forcing itself through a narrow opening] [INSTRUMENTAL] [repeat] [repeat] [repeat] [do not decorate the riff] [let scale come from repetition and weight] [distant rasp beneath the instruments] Not in pain. Not in rage. [FINAL SURGE] [double-kick pressure beneath the same enormous half-time guitar figure] [feedback and distant remnants of the original scream moving behind the band] [do not turn this into a fast technical solo] [everything is being pushed forward] [deep spoken voice, once] The Void had not breached their world. It had been called into it. [FINAL IMPACT] [instruments cut] [far beneath the mix, the Prelate's sustained scream is somehow still continuing] [cathedral reverb only] [no resolving chord]
