[Verse] Out in the world where shadows creep Candles flicker but hearts don't leap Tinsel tangled in fear and doubt It's time to shout and let love out [Verse 2] In every heart where hope feels shy Stars shine bright in the midnight sky Whispers strong rise up from the land Lift your voice now take a stand [Chorus] Proclaim the light our dawning peace Let the message of love never cease In the silence our voices ring Joy to the world it's time to sing [Verse] Forgotten tales of a manger scene Broken lives and shattered dreams Bring the news that angels told Heaven's joy for every soul [Bridge] Raise your hearts and hands so high Spread the news 'cross earth and sky Laughter love and life anew By His birth our hopes come through [Chorus] Proclaim the light our dawn of peace Let the message of love never cease In the silence our voices ring Joy to the world it's time to sing
