Fable of the End

V5.5

[Intro - lonely piano, cold ambience, distant whisper] "Come..." "Sit with me around this cold, forgotten bonfire." "There's a little story I'd like you to hear." [Verse 1 - soft piano with light strings] Once upon a time, beneath a sky too wide for sorrow, A mermaid fell in love with the heavens, while a hawk dreamed only of the sea. Hand in hand, they painted worlds neither of them could ever reach. It felt like a miracle... the kind only innocent hearts believe. [Hook 1 - violin gently rises] Tell me... Isn't it beautiful? [Verse 2 - piano continues, violin slowly creeping in] But the longer they smiled, the heavier their eyes became. The mermaid hid her tears, calling them "drops from the sea." The hawk laughed through a trembling voice, pointing toward flowers growing through broken stone. "Look..." he whispered. "The stars have fallen to the earth." Neither of them noticed they were only learning how to lie beautifully. [Hook 2 - deeper strings, slight echo] Tell me... Isn't it strange? [Verse 3 - strings swell softly, storm ambience] Then came the night when the sea refused to give him back. The hawk disappeared beneath the freezing waves. The mermaid held his lifeless body as though death itself had no right to take him away. "It's alright..." "Now you'll never leave me again." Her embrace was gentle. Gentle enough to steal the last warmth still clinging to him. [Hook 3 - emotional violin swell] Tell me... Isn't it heartbreaking? [Bridge - full soft orchestra, flower grave imagery] She buried him where the wind could still remember his name. Every morning she covered the grave with flowers too bright for a place like that. She turned the scent of decay into perfume. She whispered to eyes that had already forgotten the light. It became the sweetest monument ever built for something that could never return. [Final Hook - lonely strings, haunting stillness] Tell me... Isn't it terrifying? [Verse 5] (The full orchestra returns—vast, majestic, and emotionally distant, as if the narrator is no longer human.) And so the story quietly reached its end. Some dreams are only beautiful because they cannot survive. Some love holds so tightly that it becomes another name for loneliness. The fire died. The flowers withered. Only the silence remembered their names. [Outro] (The orchestra dissolves into distant wind. A faint heartbeat remains.) [Whisper] "Every world has its own fairy tale..." (Long silence.) "So..." "How is your world?" (A quiet laugh.) Heh... ...Heh... (Absolute silence.)
