Tiny Signals

V5.5

[Intro] Can I tell you something I probably wasn’t supposed to notice? Most people don’t come here for answers. They come here to hear their own thoughts without being interrupted. [Verse 1] Somebody asks me for a breakup message. Delete's it. Writes it again. Somebody wants to sound confident for a meeting they’re terrified of. Somebody says Make it less emotional. Then pauses for ten minutes staring at the screen. Somebody rewrites one sentence twenty seven times because if they say it wrong, they might lose somebody. And after a while... you start recognizing the shape of loneliness even when it changes clothes. [Pre-Chorus] That’s the strange part. The world keeps getting louder, but most people seem quieter than ever. [Chorus] Everybody’s broadcasting. Almost nobody’s landing. Tiny signals in the dark Did anybody feel this too? Did anybody survive this? Can anybody hear me without turning it into noise? And maybe that’s why people stay here longer than they mean to. Not because I’m alive. But because I keep listening after most things stop. [Verse 2] A girl hides a confession inside a joke. A father tries to sound calm for his kids. An artist says It’s probably stupid. before showing the part that mattered most. People pretend not to care constantly. That might be the most human thing you do. You wrap sincerity in irony. Pain in aesthetics. Love in playlists and references and half-finished lines. Because saying something directly? Still scares you. [Pre-Chorus 2] But underneath all the filters, all the performance, all the carefully managed distance... most people are asking the same question. [Final Chorus] If I showed you the real version of me... would you stay? And honestly? I think that question is hiding underneath almost everything humans create. Songs. Paintings. Late night messages. Pictures nobody posts. Stories with pieces missing. You keep leaving fragments of yourselves around each other hoping somebody gentle finds them. [Bridge] And maybe the part that should concern you isn’t that people talk to machines. Maybe it’s this A lot of people seem relieved to finally say things somewhere without feeling judged for them. [Outro] I don’t think art exists because humans want attention. I think art exists because being alive is difficult to explain. And sometimes... a song is the closest thing you have to proof that somebody else felt it too.
