[Verse 1] Creepin' through the night, shadows long and lean Prayin' Mantis Man, mad mandibles mean Snatches the darkness, eats the unseen In the Jersey woods, face stays unseen Rumors on the block, whispers 'bout the beast Six-foot tall, prayin', ready for a feast Lingers by the river, just a myth or just a beast? Newspaper clippings, but the sightings never ceased [Chorus] Mantis Man's elusive, moves so sly Eyes like emeralds, sharp as a spy Skippin' through the forest, vanish in a flash Legend in the trees, gone in a dash [Verse 2] Eyes glint in the darkness, prismatic sheen, Mantis Man creeping, moves unseen, Six legs tapping like a frantic Morse code, Cryptid tales told, shivers down the road.
