[Intro] [drum break, slap bass riff, horn hook] [Verse 1] [Vocal 1] [Male] [gritty, cheeky, rhythmic] Saturday night at the old club hall Pints on the table and a band on the wall I was stood by the jukebox, glued to the bricks Too shy to move and too scared to mix Then the bass came in like a slap on the back Feet got stuck but I kept on track Left heel, right toe, slide and peel Didn't know I had it, now I know it's real [Chorus] [Male] [big tight hook] Do the sticky floor shuffle, peel it off the ground Sticky floor shuffle, spin it all around Slide to the left, now stick to the right Everybody shuffling on a Saturday night Feet won't stop, can't stop now Sticky floor shuffle, show 'em how [Verse 2] [Male] [gritty, cheeky, rhythmic] Aunties at the bar doing it in heels Barman's joining in between the meals Bingo caller dropped his microphone Shuffled to the stage and he made it his own Grandad's got a move from nineteen seventy Kids on the side learning it for free Shoes might squeak and the soles might stick But the funk's so good it's doing the trick [Chorus] [Male] [big tight hook] Do the sticky floor shuffle, peel it off the ground Sticky floor shuffle, spin it all around Slide to the left, now stick to the right Everybody shuffling on a Saturday night Feet won't stop, can't stop now Sticky floor shuffle, show 'em how [Bridge] [Male] [bass and drums only, low] Peel it, peel it Feel it, feel it [Chorus] [Male] [big tight hook] Do the sticky floor shuffle, peel it off the ground Sticky floor shuffle, spin it all around Slide to the left, now stick to the right Everybody shuffling on a Saturday night Feet won't stop, can't stop now Sticky floor shuffle, show 'em how [Outro] [Male] [last line, grinning] Sticky floor shuffle Mind your shoes [big horn hit]
